Mercedes Benz Stadium, Atlanta, GA
Mercedes-Benz Stadium is a multi-purpose retractable roof stadium under construction in Atlanta, Georgia that will serve as the home of the Atlanta Falcons of the National Football League (NFL) and Atlanta United FC of Major League Soccer (MLS). KHAFRA provided engineering, design and construction documents for all Fire Protection systems in the stadium. These include wet sprinkler systems, dry sprinkler systems and gaseous fire suppression (FM-200). KHAFRA provided full-time field representation to observe all Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing and Fire Protection construction throughout the new facility. |

KFC Yum! Center, Louisville, KY
The KFC Yum! Center is home to the University of Louisville women’s and men’s basketball programs. Owned by the Louisville Arena Authority, the facility seats 22,000 for basketball and is equipped for multiple purposes including hockey and skating programs, various other NCAA indoor sports, music and other entertainment events in either center-stage or end-stage arrangement, and other large assembly purposes. KHAFRA was involved throughout the design and construction of this $238 million facility and provided Electrical engineering for both the 22,000 seat arena and the connected three-level underground parking garage. In addition, provided engineering for Mechanical, Plumbing, Fire Protection and Security for the fully-ventilated underground parking garage. |

Lincoln Park Green Infrastructure, Tonawanda, NY
Lincoln Park is an integral part of the social fabric of the Town of Tonawanda, providing year-round activities, including swimming, hockey, social gathering, tennis, frisbee golf, baseball and football, as well as a playground. In order to preserve the natural beauty, function and sustainability of the Park, the Town is incorporating green infrastructure, including rain gardens and a permeable pavement trail, to aid in natural stormwater infiltration, as well as provide a safe pathway for fitness enthusiasts and spectators. KHAFRA provided land survey, green infrastructure, hydraulics and civil engineering. |
